李长安，中国地质大学教授，博士生导师。现任第十二届全国政协委员；湖北省综合改革智库——“湖北省生态文明研究中心”副主任；武汉市政府参事；全国第四纪地质学学科首席科学传播专家，中国地质学会地貌学与第四纪地质学专家科普团团长，湖北省青少年科技教育协会理事长；教育部地理学教学指导委员会副主任；国家精品课程《地貌学及第四纪地质学》负责人。曾任中国第四纪科学研究会常务理事，中国地理学会地貌专业委员会副主任，湖北省政协常委，武汉市人大常委会委员。主要从事地貌、第四纪地质、城市地质、区域生态环境保护与可持续发展等方面的教学与研究工作。出版专著3部，发表论文160多篇，曾获省部级科技成果奖9项，湖北省政府发展研究奖4项，省部级教学成果奖3项。曾获首届 “全国优秀地理科技工作者”、“湖北省科技传播十大杰出人物”、“全国科普工作先进个人”、中国地质大学首届“教学名师”、中国地质大学“最受学生欢迎的老师”等称号。

Wenwu Tang is an Associate Professor and Executive Director of the Center for Applied GIScience at the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte at U.S.A. His research interests include cyber infrastructure and high-performance geocomputation, agent-based modeling, and land change modeling. Tang has over 71 peer-reviewed publications, including49 journa1 articles, 10 book chapters, and 12 conference proceedings.　　

Wenwu has been actively applying cyberinfrastructure technologies into geospatially related domains. Wenwu’s research has been supported by federal and state funding agencies, including USDA Forest Services, US CDC,US Fish and Wildlife, NCDOT, NC Forest Service, and Electric Power Research Institute. Courses that Wenwu have taught include CyberGIS and Big Data, Spatia1 Statistics, Web GIS, Agent-based Modeling of Complex Adaptive Spatia1 Systems, and Cartography and Geovisualization. Wenwu is the editoria1 board member of Landscape and Urban Planning, and guest editors of specia1 issues on Sustainability, and ISPRS Intemational Journa1 of GeoInformation.
